The lottery is a funny thing, because people buy tickets with hopes of having a lot of money, but so often they don’t know what to do with the money when they get it.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that people with the lotto-ticket-buying mindset shouldn’t be trusted with millions of dollars, and that’s been proven over and over again. Just look at the last fact on the infographic below to see what I mean.

I wrote it for fun. In fact, any time you see the number 24 in one of my articles, it’s probably one of the fun birthday articles I’ve written because my birthday is on July 24th. I didn’t expect it to be popular, but every time the Powerball reaches record numbers, that articles gets tens of thousands of views in just a few days.
